Gotcha

Watch again and listen to what Sarah Palin tells Katie starting about the 20 second mark.

She says, "We had a great discussion with President Zardari as we talked about what America can and should be doing together to make sure that the terrorists do not cross borders and do not ultimately put themselves in a position of attacking America again or her allies and we will do what we have to do to secure the United States of America and her allies."

Sarah is telling Couric up front that she understood the relationship between Pakistan's new President and the USA before she made her statement to a voter's question about crossing the border to confront terrorists. Obviously she felt there was some sort of understanding between her and Zardari.

This tells us some of what was discussed in the meeting between Palin and Zardari. Since the details of the meeting were not reported, THAT [What Palin had discussed with Zardari] should have been the headline of the story.
