So, tonight around 8:55 I look outside our front door and see a car sitting just past our driveway with its 4 ways flashing. Church had ended at 8:00 and the last person was gone by 8:05 (its too cold to stand around gabbing). We had been having family time together in the living room - all of us ready for bed. I hurriedly got Byron because I figured that we were about to get some company. Byron hastily went to peek out to see who it was and then said, "Oh, (laughing like an idiot by now).... You'll never believe it!! That's OUR car out there!!!!" Turns out he had parked it out there while the Bible study ladies pulled their cars out of our driveway then he had gotten out to talk to a couple of the husbands. He had come into the house to get something for one of them then didn't go back out - thus leaving the esteemed (senile)neighborhood pastor's car sitting on Carter Road for at least 50 min. with its 4 ways flashing.
"Here's your sign, Honey!!"
Addendum: My husband wants me to add, in his defense that he had gotten out and come in the house to pass out Sunday School literature and the weekly mailing to our church correspondance secretary. Then he had to wait until the cars in our driveway were gone so that he could go back out and move our car INTO the driveway. But.... that was not to happen until almost an hour later!!!

Ha ha! That is so funny! Tony had our car running on a cold day not long ago for almost two hours. He came in the house and got to work and completely forgot about it. He wouldn't have remembered even then had he not gotten a call about a car problem we'd been having. And mention of the vehicle jarred his memory.
I got a smile out of this one. Byron, that's just too funny!
