13 Years!

Thirteen years ago today I became, Mrs. Julie Gurnee TO BE!! It was a Sunday and Byron had carefully made specific plans for the day. I had spent the weekend with him and his family. I had spent Saturday night at his Grandma's apartment. Sunday morning he called and he frantically informed me that it was raining outside! I couldn't figure out what the problem was in that since it WAS Sunday and most of the day would be spent in church anyways. Well, after dinner at his parents he told me that he wanted to go for a walk in their woods. Thankfully, the Lord answered his prayers and the rain had stopped by then. Following a very nice (read: romantic) walk in the woods, he proposed to me under a grapevine "arbor". It was very lovely!! Eight months later we were married.

Thanks for asking me to marry you Sweetheart!!! I don't regret saying, "yes" for one minute!! I love being your wife!! Thank you for being such a great husband!!
