Popsicles in the park

The PTA for Vincent's school hosted a really cool event tonight at our local park. It was called, "Popsicles in the Park" and it was a really nice evening where the kindergarten students could meet their new teacher and meet their classmates. Of course, they got popsicles as well and they were allowed to ride the carousel as much as they wanted for FREE!!! I didn't get a picture of Vincent with his new teacher, Mrs. Herl, and I feel SO badly about that! Mrs. Herl is an angel in disguise, I'm convinced. She was Kenton's kindergarten teacher as well and we all grew to love her immensely. She is a true example of a Christian lady and an exceptional teacher. We are so thankful that Vincent will be able to learn under her as well. Here's a few pictures of our fun evening. The little girl, Miranda, is a friend of ours who will be in the same class as Vincent. Miranda and her family go to our church so she and Vincent are happy to be in the same class.

Oh so neat! This is a great idea, our school is too small to do something like this, but it is still a really neat idea!
