Can anyone say "Amen"?

Gas just hit 3.61 here in Albion yesterday. We have cut back our driving as much as we can at this point. Byron still has hospital calls several times a week (approximately 30 miles one way) which we cannot cut back on. I never thought I'd see the day when over 1/2 of our paycheck goes to gas.

Update: I had to take the video clip out because it was distorting everything on the blog.

"Amen, sistah"

I looked at the kids' baby books the other day just to see what gas prices were back when they were born -- 4-1/2 years ago when I had Kelcee it was between 1.65 and 1.85!!

Eight years ago I remember stressing over paying .99/gallon. I vehemently told Byron that when it went over 1.00 a gallon I was not driving anywhere!!! LOL Oh to see 1.00 again!!

It's horrible! And frustrating that no one is doing anything about it.

It's $10 gallon in Britain and France... I supppose that isn't a comforting comment. We drive 20 miles one way to "town" (church, stores, etc) so we feel your pain. But I'm still glad we're in US and not Europe.

Yeah, as a pastor of a rural church, it can be tough! I feel your pain.

It was $3.63 when I filled it up last week and $3.65 in MI when I filled it up again, ugh! When will it ever stop?!
