Friends and Distance

I woke up this morning perfectly happy. I sat down to check on all my friends and I found THIS! I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight as a result. After spending 4 hours trying to find objectionable content within my own writings I have finally come to the conclusion that apparently our good friend is suffering from a guilty conscience (due his endorsement of a questionable character's bid for the White House) and coming to my blog simply increases this uncomfortable feeling. However, if he wishes to renounce me - I cannot stop him. He must follow his conscience. I may have to make sure a portion of the lasagna I plan to fix the Sunday he is here is burnt. I may even slip a bit of extra red pepper into it.

In conclusion..... for Tim....

This was reported by Fox news - who we all know is fair and unbiased and we surely can trust their reporting......(snicker). If this man would even THINK of hobnobbing with the likes of Kerry, can we trust him?

Ok... anyone else care to renounce me????

There is nothing objectionable on your blog--never has been. Tim owns this problem, not you! Keep on blogging, sister!

I for one appreciate the firmness and control (leadership) with which he handled this nagging reporter who was intent on getting him to lose control on camera.... I thought the whole issue was a compliment to Mr. McCain.

Kerry asked McCain to be a runnng mate, apparently in an attempt to secure conservative independents and republicans..... I do appreciate the fact that Mr. McCain declined to accept this offer and remained stedfast in his loyalty to his party, walking away from a power grab and publicity opportunity. What a man!
My friends, it's time to put feelings aside and deal with the facts... I know he's not pretty enough to get the majority of the female vote, but in the end, on the big day, I hope they can close their eyes, hold the nose, and make the right decision.

BTW I love lasagna with burnt edges, especially with red pepper...thanks for putting together a winner!

I will close my eyes, pinch my nose, inhale and exhale deeply into a brown bag.... IF and ONLY if, I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that he IS the right decision. Right now, all I hear is, "he's the lesser of the evils" and I don't want to vote for him simply because I'm scared of Obama and Clinton. By voting for him, I am endorsing him and I am not to that point yet.

As for lasagna.... I wasn't speakign of burnt edges... unless of course edges go all the way to the middle.

now that I've calmed down enough to write rationally...I do appologize for your inconvience and would reiterate that I've only distanced myself from some of the seperatist rhetoric I've noticed in the text or even between the lines...nothing personal against the author. the recipes appear to be edible and most postings are enjoyable. perhaps I should have waited a few weeks before taking this position and offering to help you fix your blog...o well I'll bring plenty of Pepto.

I agree with Tim all the way. It's time the Republican party unites and agrees, wether you like it or not, McCain is our "conservative" choice. Leave the divided party to the democrats. As the gap gets bigger in their party and if we close ours, the White House will be ours this November.
